If they approve a person for their program, the applicant must hire an individual provider to perform the authorized services. The respective provider is considered an employee. Therefore, the applicant is responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and firing the personal provider. If the county has contract service providers or homemaker employees, you may receive services from them.
